‘Hope got me back on feet’

A WORKSOP woman who was helped out of homelessness by a local charity has showed her gratitude by giving staff a Guardian Rose.

Tracy Gladwin turned to Hope back in 2008 when she found herself homeless. And with their help, she managed to turn her life around.

“They got me to where I am now and I just can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me,” said the 33-year-old mother.

“I had nowhere else to go. They supported me through my ups and downs. I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for them.”

Sandy Smith from Hope said Tracy was one of their ‘greatest successes’.

She said: “We were able to offer Tracy a place to stay, as well as educational courses in things like budgeting and preparing meals.”

“She eventually met another chap we had helped. They paired up, and the twins are the result.”

“They are one of our greatest success stories and we are all really proud of them.”
