Helping get young people into work

Premier Foods in Worksop opened its doors to young unemployed people this week to help get them into work.

The initiative is part of Feeding Britain’s Future – Skills for Work Week, a nationwide campaign to tackle youth unemployment.

Working with Jobcentre Plus in Worksop, Premier Foods ran a series of workshops on CV preparation, completing a job applications and interview techniques.

The young people also got the chance to watch the food production process and speak to employees about their own job seeking experiences.
