Help blue bandits raise bail

Debbie Bonewell and Claire Hawker are taking part in Jail and Bail on 29th November, when they will be arrested at the Regent Hotel in Doncaster and taken to HMP Marshgate in a police van.

Once in their prison uniform they will be locked in a cell, before being escorted to the bail room to call anyone who can help them raise their £500 bail money.

They have already started fundraising and are holding a race night at the Three Tuns in Stainton on 24th November. Local schools have also held event to help raise money.

Debbie said: “When the Jail and Bail event was mentioned we couldn’t resist saying yes as it was too good an opportunity to miss out on. We knew it would be hard work but we were both committed to raising as much money as possible.”
