'˜Heartbroken' family pay tribute to '˜loving and caring' couple killed in Meden Vale crash
The two pedestrians, who have been named as 66-year-old Sandra Dangerfield and her 72-year-old husband Michael, of Meden Vale, were involved in a collision with a car on Netherfield Lane on Saturday, October 15, at about 1.30pm.
Both were pronounced death at the scene.
Gemma Bowler, a niece of the couple, said: “My auntie Sandra and uncle Michael were loving and caring people and would do anything for anybody. My family and I are heartbroken.”

Hide AdNephew Steve Dangerfield said: “Sandra and Michael were lovely couple, always liked and loved by family and friends.
“Michael was a big Stags and Notts County fan and Sandra was a big Elvis fan.
“You were both taken from us too soon and will never be forgotten.
“You will always have a place in our hearts, love from all the Dangerfield family.”

Hide AdPolice have launched an investigation into the collision and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokeswoman said: “The East Midlands serious collision investigation Unit is investigating and enquires are ongoing.
“Detectives are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident, but are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage to contact them on 101 quoting incident 450 of October 14.
“Our thoughts are with the families during this time.”
