Health plan
THE NHS Blood and Transplant service has set out its plan for the next five years.
It includes modernising blood collection, delivering 50 per cent growth in deceased organ donation, developing tissues, stem cells, diagnostics and apheresis based therapies and working with hospitals to integrate transfusion services.
