Rev Vasey-Saunders, who will be known as Mother Leah, was officially installed in service conducted by the Bishop of Sherwood, Right Reverend Tony Porter and Archdeacon of Newark, Venerable David Picken.

Mother Leah said: “This real life, homely place, holy ground, Godly community is where God wants me to be.”

“From the depths of Harworth, Bircotes, Stirupp and Hesley, I have heard God call.”

“And as I get to know everyone in the community, I am confident I will find him.”
