Andrew Mead, 43, of Arundel Walk, breached his community order after he twice failed to attend pre-arranged pick-up points for him to carry out unpaid work.

In court, he told magistrates that his job occupied him six days a week and on the seventh day was the only chance he had to see his children.

Magistrates’ revoked the unpaid work order and handed him a four-month curfew to remain at his home address between 10pm and 6am, Monday to Friday each week.
