Harthill: Post Office officially re-opened by the Mayor

To celebrate the launch of the new Harthill Post Office, Mayor of Rotherham, Coun John Foden, and Mayoress Kath Foden ‘cut the ribbon’ at an opening ceremony.

Coun Foden said: “I welcomed the news that Harthill Post Office was to be modernised and am delighted to congratulate Julie and Tim Johnson on their hard work and to formally declare the new Harthill Post Office open.

“The Post Office is vital to everyone and I’m sure the new improved office, and the longer opening hours, will be warmly welcomed by all of the community.”
