GUEST COLUMN: Family fun on offer this Easter

There are once again a variety of exciting events taking place at Nottinghamshire County Council's country parks during the coming weeks.

As well as Easter trails at Rufford Abbey and Sherwood Forest, there is a fun opportunity for people to socialise and keep active through boardgames at Bestwood Country Park’s Dynamo House.

There are a selection of cards and games and people can also bring their own.

This new programme is just one way in which the county council’s country parks are helping to combat loneliness and encouraging people to mix and mingle in a secure and welcoming environment.

Board games are also a great way to keep the mind active.

The event will run every first Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Here is a reminder of some other forthcoming events taking place Nottinghamshire County Council’s country parks.
