Gringley-on-the-Hill: Taste and style of India on the menu

She gave a talk entitled Clothes and Culture of India and took members through the customs, languages and areas of India, speaking about types of clothing worn in each region as well as the traditional dishes produced in each area.

Kum Kum is also a very good cook and teaches traditional Indian recipes in and around her home town in South Yorkshire.

She has also written several books, one of which was on sale after her talk.

The next meeting in is scheduled for Wednesday, 2nd July when the guest speaker will be Linda Hewitt.

The group will then take a summer break and return on 3rd September.
