The 16-year-old, who can not be named for legal reasons, denies unlawfully killing Worksop window fitter Glen Kitchens on Saturday 6th April this year.

Mr Kitchens, 40, from the Sunnyside area of Worksop, died following an incident in Bridge Street at its junction with Central Avenue.

Technical issues in the courtroom have held up this morning’s proceedings.

The jury has been sent out until 2pm while the problem is resolved.

Witnesses for the prosecution are expected to start giving evidence this afternoon.
