Girls get on their bikes

Onlookers gathered at the finish line as 26 health care cadet’s cycled 26 miles from Doncaster to Worksop to support Aurora.

The youngsters were inspired and wanted to get involved after seeing the centre, in the old library on Memorial Avenue.

Aurora manager Sally Richardson said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support, especially as the team and girls raised an amazing £1,000.”

She continued: “A tea was laid on by Doreen and Angela at Aurora to welcome the girls and to thank them for their sterling effort as all girls were cycling novices - until now.”
