It might be the time of year for Christmas trees, but the region’s newest wedding venue, Bawtry Hall, has unveiled a very different species.
For a giant blossom tree has been unveiled as a central focal point for wedding and event photos near the grand staircase of the hall.
Made of natural cherry trees from sustainable woodlands, the tree stands seven metres tall and was installed by the company, Plantart.
Describing it as ‘breathtaking’, Bawtry Hall’s managing director Craig Dowie said: “It is known as the tree of life.
“It reflects the symbols of energy, spirituality, stability, growth and love, all of which have been part of the joyous occasions, including weddings and celebrations, that have been held here in the year we have been open.”
Katey Dent, sales manager at the hall, said: “Today, people want the perfect Instagram/social media photo opportunity, and our stunning tree is certainly that.”
