Get your Christmas cards delivered by scout post

MORE than 2,000 cards have already been sorted by Retford District Scouts as part of their Christmas scout post scheme.

The final posting day is this Sunday 16th December.

“Thank you to everyone who has already bought stamps and posted their Christmas cards,” said Kenny Newstead.

“The final posting date is Sunday 16th December and post boxes will be removed by 4pm at the latest.”

Stamps can be bought from Bookworm in Spa Lane, Cardy’s Butchers on Bridgegate, Londis on Wesley Road, Rymans on Carolgate, Halls Newsagents and Premier Shop in Tuxford and several outlets in East Markham and Askham.

All of these outlets have post boxes but don’t leave it too late - check if they are open on Sunday.
