It’s almost time to get your buckets and spades ready as the Gainsborough Beach Party returns for a second year.
The town centre will once again be transformed into an artificial seaside for everyone to enjoy.
Chair of the Prosperous Communities Committee at West Lindsey District Council, Councillor Sheila Bibb, said: “We are delighted to bring all the fun of the seaside to Gainsborough again this summer.
“Last year proved hugely popular with both days packed with families and people curious to see what was going on. We hope to see even more new faces this year.”
The event will take place on Saturday, August 6, and Sunday 7. Visitors will be able to enjoy the regular Saturday market as well as soaking up a range of other attractions on the day including rides and face painting. You will also be able to get their hands on some specially-made Gainsborough rock, bringing another taste of the seaside to town.
