Generous donations after copper thieves strike Worksop’s HOPE for Homeless

WORKSOP people have come to HOPE for Homeless’ aid after thieves stole copper gas pipes from the charity’s Watson Road premises.

HOPE’s CEO Sandy Smith said they were extremely grateful after receiving £500-worth of donations from members of the public and a local business towards paying for the damage which totalled £900.

The incident happened on 4th February, leaving gas dangerously spewing out of HOPE’s ‘move-on’ property.
