Gateford: A thousand golden daffodils for estate
Volunteers from Worksop Rotary Club and offers from Bassetlaw District Council ,have been brightening up the Gateford Estate and planting daffodils.
More than 1,000 bulbs were planted on the day ready for them to bloom in Feburary.
Coun Julie Leigh, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said: “Making our communities a more pleasant place to live is one of the Council’s biggest priorities.
“This initiative is just one way of making this possible. I’d like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers from Worksop Rotary Club for donating their time to make this possible.”
