Gainsborough: Wright Vigar staff take on the Three Peaks Challenge for charity

The hikers comleted a 24.5 mile circular route, which saw them scale the 691 metres high Pen-y-Ghent, 728 metres Whernside and Ingleborough 723 metres.

The walkers helped raise £500 for cancer charities.

Wright Vigar Director Jack O’Hern said: “Everyone who took part was eager to do this challenge. Sponsorship money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Cancer Care. The work they do is very close to the hearts of all the walkers.”
