Gainsborough: Woman left ‘shaken up’ after she was assaulted

Woman was left ‘shaken up’ after she was assaulted by a man in Gainsborough.

Lincs Police are investigating the incident which occurred at around 6.20pm on Monday 25th May on Pingle Hill, Gainsborough.

An 18-year-old woman was walking down the hill when she was assaulted by a man near to the junction with the graveyard. She was not seriously injured in the incident but was left shaken up.

This man is described as around 20-30 years old, white, of large build, between 6’0” and 6’2” tall, wearing a black jacket with orange stripes down the sleeves, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Lincs Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anyone in that area around that time matching that description.
