Gainsborough: Winner of the Marshall’s Yard Mother’s Day competition

The entries were displayed on the Yard’s big screen throughout the day on Saturday 14th March and the winning picture, which was selected at random, was by Hollie Markham, 11, and Joel Markham, nine, who joined together to draw their Mum, Adele.

The brother and sister from Blyton Cum Laughton won a fantastic prize of special Mother’s Day treats to give to their mum from the stores at The Yard.

Prizes included a week’s free membership at DW and a personal train session, flowers from The Florist, a beauty hamper from Browns, a goodie bag from Body Shop, vouchers from New Look and Laura Ashley, as well as beauty treatments from Bella Fiore and Stringers.

Centre manager, Alison Hall, said: “We are extremely happy with the number of entries we received. It was lovely seeing them all on our TV screen at The Yard over the weekend.”

Adele Markham, Mother’s Day competition winner, said: “What a fantastic idea this was, the kids were so excited to see their drawing appear on the TV screen. The prizes were a really lovely treat to receive.”
