Gainsborough: West Lindsey Lesiure Centre win silver at Health Awards

The Health Club Awards event was launched in 2011 sponsored by Physical Company, USN, Les Mills and The Health Club Management Magazine,.

Members of all individual health clubs and leisure centre’s vote for their own club and submit comments about individual members of staff and instructors.

Hundreds of clubs and centre’s from all over the UK enter this competition and West Lindsey leisure centre was once again short listed to the finals for the fourth year running.

Group exercise manager, Tracey Warrener was also nominated for The Peoples Award which is an individual award awarded to someone with the most votes and comments made about them by the members.

Tracey said: “At the glamorous black tie final’s night on 30th September, hosted by the lovely television presenter Mark Durden Smith, West Lindsey Leisure Centre won Silver for the best club in The Eastern Region and I won the Peoples Award.”

“So West Lindsey came away with two Awards purely on votes from our members.”

“These awards have proved that at West Lindsey Leisure Centre we are excelling in the area’s covered by the voting- Customer Service, value for money and great facilities.”

“We are all so excited to have won an award for the fourth year running and I am especially excited to have been awarded The Peoples Award which is a great achievement to receive as a Group Exercise Manager proving that what I am doing is what our members want with regards to Group Exercise.”

“On behalf of everyone at West Lindsey Leisure Centre I would like to say a massive thank you to all our members and customers who voted for us, it means such a lot to all of us and a further thank you to everyone who voted for me resulting in being awarded The Peoples Award.”

The voting for the awards start in February until June them the clubs are short listed to the finals which takes place in September of each year in Birmingham.
