Gainsborough: Vaughan is running a half marathon for charity
A Gainsborough man will be putting his running shoes on Sunday 3rd May and taking part in the Scunthorpe Half Marathon in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Vaughan Hughes was inspired to run for the charity as his colleague Bill Miller, pictured above with Vaughan, lost his nephew Paul Lamborn last year to pancreatic cancer.
Vaughan said: “Forty years ago only three per cent of people diagnosed with this form of cancer survived for five years or more and unfortunately this is still true today.”
