Gainsborough: Three charities receive a donation from Yorkshire Building Society
Three charities in Gainsborough are among 1,000 around the UK to benefit from Yorkshire Building Society members’ small change.
Gainsborough Education charity, St Barnabus Lincolnshire Hospice and Gainsborough House were among those to be given a £100 donation after being nominated at the Gainsborough branch of Yorkshire Building Society.
The Charitable Foundation is funded through the Small Change Big Difference scheme where members donate the pennies from the annual interest on their accounts to help charities and good causes. As of 2014, the amount donated by the Charitable Foundation in Gainsborough was more than £12,000.
