Gainsborough: Suspended jail sentence for woman falsely claiming benefits
A Gainsborough woman was given an eight week suspended sentence and 120 hours unpaid work after she failed to notify the Department of Work and Pensions and West Lindsey District Council about changes which would affect her benefits.
Christine Pickwell, 29, of Theaker Avenue, Gainsborough, was also fined £100 and an £80 victim surcharge.
