Gainsborough: Service to commemorate the anniversary of the end of the Second World War
To commemorate the 70th anniversary since the end of the Second World War on August 15, 1945, a special church service will be held at All Saints Parish Church in Church Street, Gainsborough at 6pm on Sunday, August 16.
The service will bring Second World veterans, both military and civilian, together to relive a story that should never be forgotten.
Anyone is welcome to attend.
