Gainsborough: Pupils at Queen Elizabeth High School take part in the Colossal Cake Sale for Help for Heroes

The Service Children at Queen Elizabeth’s High School in Gainsborough joined in with the nationwide Colossal Cake Sale to support the Help for Heroes charity.

Service Children’s Coordinator, Andrea Lowe, said: “The students, parents and staff baked a fantastic selection of delicious cakes and we have also been supported with cake donations from the following local bakeries, Teasdales Confectioners, Cutecups, Innovate Services, Cooplands, Greggs in the Market Place, the Co-op in Morton and Tesco.”

“Gill Angel, Community Development Officer, Lesley Mutch, HIVE Information Officer and a service child’s parent and a representative from the armed forces joined us for the day from RAF Scampton.”
