Gainsborough: Otterfest was a great success

A charity event at the Lincolnshire Otter in Gainsborough helped raise more than £1,000 for Help for Heroes.

Otterfest was held at the Gainsborough pub on Saturday, August 29, and the day was filled with live music, raffles, dance performances, fairground rides and a visit from the Help for Heroes bear.

The day was organised by the Lincolnshire Otter managers, Danni and Andy Hutchings, and assistant manager, Daniel Troop.

Following the success from this year’s event they are now planning on making this an annual August bank holiday event.

The Lincolnshire Otter also host a range of weekly and monthly events, including a free poker tournament event Sunday where contestants also have the chance of winning a trip to Vegas, a pub quiz event Monday night from 8pm and a live entertrainment night called Fab Fridays are due to start on September 25, and will take place on the last Friday of every month.
