Gainsborough: New extension at Old Nick Theatre is now open

The Old Nick Theatre has unveiled its new kitchen and lounge extension which was funded by the WREN FCC Building Communities Gainsborough Fund and undertaken by the Gelder Group.

Many people enjoyed the refreshments, music, morris dancing, theatrical entertainment , children’s activities and guided history tours in the cells at the opening event.

Eleanor Bowker said: “The new lounge is a delightful addition to this historic building, complementing the architecture and will prove popular not just with theatre goers but other users as well.”
