Gainsborough: Intruders claimed to be decorators to gain access to elderly residents home and stole cash

The distraction burglary took place on Tuesday 25th February at around 12pm.

Two males said they were ‘doing painting work’ and went into the home of the two elderly residents.

While one resident was out of the premises over £200 was stolen.

One of the men was described as white, medium build, dark thinning hair, in his 20’s with a protruding tooth and wearing dark clothing.
