Gainsborough: Hammer wielding robbers target cash in transit van

Police were called to the fast food restaurant on Trinity Street at around 9am.

The offenders made off in a vehicle, although the details have not yet been confirmed by the police.

Police attended the scene and are currently conducting investigations.

The driver of the cash van was not injured.
