In August the 11 men will get on their bikes to cycle from Edinburgh to Elm Cottage in Gainsborough.

They are aiming to cycle the 300 miles over just three days.

The group will be raising money for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance because in December last year their close friend, Adam Stead, from Scampton, was involved in a crash with a van while he was cycling home and had to be rushed to hospital by the air ambulance.

As well as the cycle ride in August the group have also organised a number of charity events to help raise further funds during the summer months.

A charity golf day is taking place 1st May, a Gary Barlow tribute act starring Gainsborough’s Danny Hadfield is taking place on 5th June at Welton Manor Golf Club finishing off with a charity ball at Gainsborough Golf Club on 19th September.
