Gainsborough: Go back to the 1930s this bank holiday and celebrate the great days of railway travel

The great days of railway travel will be marked by the Gainsborough Model Railway this weekend when their model of the West Riding Limited service, which ran between London Kings Cross and Leeds Central, will be open to mark 75 years since the train last ran.

The railway can be seen at the clubrooms on Florence Terrace on Saturday (23rd August) and Sunday (24th August) from 1.30 to 6pm and Monday (24th August) from 10.30am.

Admission is £4 for adults and £3 for children and senior citizens. A family ticket is £10.
