Gainsborough: Get expert advice from building control officers at West Lindsey District Council

Two of West Lindsey District Council’s Building Control Officers have recently qualified as Chartered Building Engineers.

Senior Building Control Officer Trevor Durant and Building Control Officer Patrick Warner have secured the qualifications from the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE).

West Lindsey District Council Chief Operating Officer, Mark Sturgess, said: “Trevor and Patrick’s chartered status is welcome news not only for the council but for those seeking advice when it comes to the building process. It brings not only a sense of specialist knowledge but confidence for those who may be unsure of regulations or are first-time builders.”

The Building Control team can deliver an efficient, cost-effective service from free pre-application advice, plan checking service and site inspections.

The team can also assist you and your builder with advice and guidance with regards to regulations for commercial, social, conversions and self-build projects for home owners, housing developers, builders and non-residential builders too. The team are also responsible for dangerous structures and demolitions.
