Gainsborough Central station named in ‘Top 10 Haunting, Forgotten Stations’

After years of neglect and a limited service Gainsborough Central station has been named among the 10 most “Haunting, Forgotten Stations Served by Britain’s ‘Ghost Trains’”

In 2013 Gainsborough Station in Station Approach, Gainsborough, was compared to “something you’d find in war-torn Beirut.” and last year it was labelled the worst station on the British railway network.
