Gainsborough Army Cadet Force attended the Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force annual camp at Ripon from 10th August to 19th August.
The 18 cadets that attended the camp took part in a range of activities from skill at arms to expedition training.
The also took part in competitions such as the tug of war and visited a high ropes centre.
Kyle Fogarty was promoted to Cadet Sergeant and received his silver Duke of Edinburgh Award on camp.
Ross Pinkney was promoted to Cadet Staff Sergeant on making him the highest ranked cadet within Four Company which Gainsborough Detachment is a member.
To finish off a fantastic camp the Detachment was recognised as the best detachment within the whole of Lincolnshire receiving the coveted Lucas Tooth Shield to recognise their hard work and commitment to their Detachment.

The Gainsborough Army Cadet Force is part of the Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force which is split into four geographical areas and consists of three Companies and one Squadron.
With around 46,000 cadets aged from 12-years-old to18-years-old in 1,700 locations in communities all over the UK, the ACF is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations.
They currently have around 8,500 enthusiastic and committed adult volunteers.
