Funeral for Worksop Sea Cadets chairman David Gillert MBE

WORKSOP Sea Cadet chairman David Gillert MBE has passed away at the age of 65.

Mr Gillert died at his Shepherd’s Avenue home in the morning of Tuesday 25th September.

He had been an integral part of Worksop Sea Cadets for over 30 years - receiving an MBE in recognition for his services in 2007.

Worksop town centre is expected to come to a standstill for his funeral - to be held at 1.45pm on Tuesday 9th October at St Anne’s Church, Newcastle Avenue.
