Families came together to enjoy the fun and entertainment organised by the shopping centre which included a variety of live dance performances and Easter themed competitions.

The Easter bunny also visited and bounced around the Yard.

Children took part in the free Gainsborough Lions Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Design Competition, which was organised by Marshall’s Yard team.

The store manager from Browns department store was faced with some tough decision making when judging all the creative entries, but the first prize for the Easter egg design competition was awarded to five-year-old Alfie Blades. Runner up prizes were also handed out.

And Grace Rusling, seven, was the lucky winner of the Easter Egg hunt competition.

Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard, Alison Hall, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people here this Easter weekend enjoying our Easter themed event.

“It was great to see the crowds form on the fountain area, enjoying the live performances and all of the entertainment that was on throughout the day.

“We are really looking forward to our next big event which will be the popular Marshall’s Tractor’s event on Father’s Day in June.”
