Fruit, flowers and veg

The Fruit Flower and Vegetable Show, held at Harthill Village Hall, attracted visitors and entrants from far and wide.

The three-day event, organised by the The Harthill and District Garden Association was open to the public on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday after the judges had made their decisions.

People were free to wander round the impressive displays and entries.

As well as handing out the prizes for the best fruit and veg, judges also gave the winners of last weekend’s scarecrow competition their awards.
