The garden centre has just undergone a revamp and now has a new increased tabled plant area with tarmacked paths for easier accessibility.

There is also a new polytunnel, full of freshly stocked plants and shrubs, larger new car parking area, new garden furniture, pots and benches, patio circles, gravels and garden ornaments, trees, shrubs, summer basket/bedding plants, vegetable, tomato and herb plants, hanging baskets ready-made, or made to order and to your budget, beautiful Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Roses, Alpines, Heathers, Perennials and much more.

The Citrus Cafe is set in a large converted greenhouse, with a vaulted glass roof and fruit bearing citrus trees, with the sound of flowing water rippling down a water feature.

Whatever time of day you visit there will be something which takes your fancy. Until 11.30am you can enjoy a breakfast, lunch dishes are available from 12pm and range from meat pies, luxury fishcakes, lasagne and more, all served with hand cut chips, new potatoes, vegetables or side salad. And at the weekend you can enjoy a roast dinner with Yorkshire Pudding, available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 2.30pm.

Ligher options are also available seven days a week including jacket potatoes, paninis, toasties, freshly made sandwiches, quiche, filled rolls, home-made soup and salads.

All available with fairtrade coffee, speciality teas, chilled drinks, creamed scones, gateaux and cakes.

Jill Foster said: “We are a family run business and have been building the business over the last 10 years.”

“We have recently doubled our car parking area and relocated and enlarged our tabled plant area, now with tarmac paths for easier accessibility.”

“The cafe menu has also recently been revamped, with some new dishes but we’ve kept favorites such as fresh battered fish and our hand cut chips available every Wednesday and Thursday and our Sunday Roast dinners”

“And we make all our own hanging baskets, which are available to buy ready made or we’ll make to anyone’s individual specification and budget.”
