Maggie Kopanska opened her town centre bistro last year in the hope of introducing Worksop residents to their traditional Polish cuisine.
The business owner originally hails from the seaside town of Swinouyscie in north west Poland and moved to Worksop six years ago- determined to integrate with the local community.
Said Maggie: “I am pasionate about introducing Worksop residents to Polish cuisine, and warmly welcome them to our restaurant.”
“It’s healthy, tasty and wholesome food that I just know everyone in Worksop will enjoy.”
“We offer homemade soups, dumplings, schnitzel, chicken dishes, pork dishes, meat stews, pancake dishes, fresh vegetable dishes and much more, all at great prices.”
Tasty dishes on the menu, which change every week as Maggie uses seasonal ingredients, include ‘Placek po zbojnicku’, potato pancakes with stewed pork meat and vegetables and ‘Pierogi Ruski’, delicious Russian dumplings with a potato, vegetable and cheese filling.
Maggie added: “I hope you will come along, enjoy your free drink and see what we have to offer here at Sister’s Diner.”
