Get your day off to a fantastic start with this week’s free offer from the Guardian- a delicious bacon or sausage breakfast cob worth a whopping £1.50!
The Guardian have teamed up with brand new sandwich shop Fresh to Go, located on Bridge Place, to bring you this fantastic offer.
All you have to do is cut out the coupon in this week’s issue (out tomorrow- Friday 24th July) and present it at the Fresh to Go counter from Friday 24th July to Friday 31st July to receive your tasty free breakfast before 2pm.
Fresh to Go came bursting onto the scene last month and has been proving popular with residents ever since its opening.
The shop offer a wide range of breakfast and lunch time foods, including sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads- all made fresh on the premises.
It has been a rough couple of months for the Fresh to Go staff, who were left ‘jobless and devastated’ when Bird’s went into sudden voluntary liquidation in March.
Bird’s had been operating on Bridge Place for more than 100 years and its closure shocked staff members and loyal customers alike.
Determined to turn a negative into a positive, Tracy Mattey set up Fresh to Go to provide the fresh breakfasts and lunches residents so sorely missed after the Bird’s closure.
Tracy said:“We are still disgusted by what happened, but we wanted to move on and make our business a success. We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received and hope more people will come along and enjoy our food.”
