Fog likely to cause MORE traffic problems

Drivers should be wary that thick fog is likely to cause more transport issues in the East Midlands today (November 3).

Another dull morning in the region as mist lingers in some places, causing poor visibility on the roads.

This comes less than 48 hours after the Met Office issued a ‘yellow warning’ for the area and several flights were cancelled at East Midlands Airport.

The thick cloud may start to lift this afternoon, with highs of 9°C.

This evening, outbreaks of rain are expected, with some showers coming in at dawn. Lows of 10°C.

Tomorrow will see more mist - though it should break down in the afternoon, with some sunny spells. Highs of 12°C.
