Flower Club raises cash

FUNDS from a recent fashion show were presented to Steve Underwood from the Air Ambulance charity, by members of Gainsborough Flower Club.

A fabulous £250 was raised from the fashion show, with outfits supplied by the Barron Bou boutique of Lord Street.

At February’s meeting Julie Woods gave a talk entitled Catwalk Calling - Flowers with Fashion.

“Julie’s daughter had studied fashion so she decided to bring the two interests together, matching her floral displays with various outfits,” said Margaret Wilson of the Flower Club.

The next meeting is on Thursday 22nd March at 7.15pm at the Blues Club, North Street, Gainsborough.
