People flocked to Cresswell Craggs museum in Worksop last weekend to see the Festival of Archaeology.
The festival had something for all the family and about 100 people turned up to see what it was all about.
There was flint knapping - making tools from the stone age and the ice age, cave art, shelter building and fire making.
There were also flint tools on display such as spear heads, arrow heads and hand axes. that been found by the local history group.
Talks were given on the tools by expert historians.
The festival was hosted by the Council for British Archaeology.
