Firefighters tackle wooden building blaze in Hucknall

Nottinghamhire firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in Hucknall last night (October 4).

Crews from the Hucknall and Stockhill stations attended the fire on Lime Tree Road after a call was received around 7.30pm.

Two jets, a thermal image camera and small tools were used to fight the fire, which was at a large wooden building.

The building, which is approximately 10 by 20 metres, was severely damaged by the fire, along with three sheds, two caravans and a propane cylinder.

The fire was put out by 9.47pm.
