Firefighters tackle series of arson attacks across South Yorkshire

Firefighters in South Yorkshire dealt with a series of arson attacks across the county over the weekend.

A pile of tyres was found burning on Cemetery Road, Goldthorpe, Barnsley; rubbish was found burning on Wilberforce Road, Doncaster and a car was set on fire on Grays Road, Carlton, Barnsley.

They also tackled a motorbike torched on Galsworthy Road, Parson Cross and a large number of hay bales set alight on New Orchard Lane, Thurcroft, Rotherham.

A dog kennel, which was empty at the time, was also set on fire on Far Lane, East Dene, Rotherham.
