There was a special festive treat for young visitors to Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough at the weekend - with the showing of some classic Christmas films on the centre’s big screen.
Families were able to watch Frozen and The Polar Express from the warmth of specially erected tents and a giant tepee – blankets were also provided to keep visitors warm and dry.
Before the afternoon screening, the Salvation Army sang Christmas songs for shoppers to enjoy.
The team at Costa Coffee, one of the centre’s coffee shops, handed out free hot chocolates during the film.
Centre manager at Marshall’s Yard, Alison Hall, said: “We like to offer something different which all the family can enjoy throughout the year and it was great to see so many people turn out to enjoy our special Christmas movie afternoon.
“We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our shoppers a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in 2016.”
The centre will be open on Boxing Day offering free parking, with Next opening their doors at 6am for their annual Boxing Day sale.
