young Ethan Fisher bounced his way into the record books when he took part in a holiday camp challenge.
The nine-year-old now holds the Guiness World Record for the number of bounces on a space hopper in a minute.
Ethan took the title during a holiday to Butlin’s Skegness.
His dad Richard, of Amherst Rise, Gateford, said: “He managed to do 62 bounces over a line and the previous record was 60.”
This isn’t Ethan’s first space hopping record either.
The St John’s School pupil took part in the largest ever space hopper race at Sheffield Don Valley Bowl last July, along with his dad, mum Anne and sister Ellie, 11.
Richard said: “It was over 200m and Ethan actually crossed the finished line first. It was organised by Yorkshire Cancer Research, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care.”
