Up to 26 employees at North Notts College could be made redundant as a month-long consultation begins on proposals to cut staff.
The college, with campuses in Worksop, Retford and Shireoaks, has begun the 30 day consultation in response to Government funding cuts.
Principal John Connolly said the college would consult fully with colleagues and Trade Unions over the coming weeks.
“We will also be working hard to reduce the number of any compulsory redundancies through retirements, voluntary arrangements and redeployment opportunities,” he said.
“And I am confident this will have a positive impact on the eventual numbers.”
“Final decisions will not be made until early June.”
