We had an amazing reaction on the Guardian’s website and Facebook page after our story about Worksop photographer Shaun Bailey was published this week.
Shaun, of New Focus Photography, offered his services as a wedding snapper for free when he heard about Whitwell couple Trudy and Mitch Baker.

The couple and their young son had been left devastated when Mitch was diagnosed with terminal cancer, forcing them to plan their wedding within six weeks on a small budget and potentially without a photographer.
So Shaun stepped in and captured the moment the brave couple tied the knot for free.
Understandably it was one of the most emotional days he has spent behind a camera.
And the couple presented Shaun with a special framed poem to say thanks.
Trudy told us this week it had ‘restored her faith in people’ - and it is difficult to argue.
It was a wonderful gesture and praise for Shaun quite rightly flooded in as soon as we published the story.
